There are many ways to use the player, and here are 12 cards that suggest combinations, tips or DJ techniques, which can hit the mark depending on the sound material you will be handling.

  • Set BPM to a lower value (less than 50%)
    • Mute all rhythmic tracks
      • Adjust the level of effects and specifically the REVERB/DELAY with a very high and deep value.
        • Enable LOOPER/REPEATER with a very short length value ( to 1 through 4)
          • Enable the random of the LOOPER
            • Enable PANS/BALANCES
              • Adjust EFFECTS to your taste
                • Disable 3 «  SCRATCH assign » buttons of your choice and keep enable only one.
                  • In the MIXER tab, select the EFFECT LEVEL and let 100% of effect only on this tracks
                    • Back to the level mixer and mute this track
                      • Launch the playback and when you feel it you can unmute and scratch this same track, you can also apply effect .
                        • Create a loop of around 16 or 32 steps
                          • Move the PLAYHEAD position, release the LOOP A and enable it few seconds after
                            • Repeat this method several time
                              • Enable a loop of between 8 and 32 bars
                                • Set a FX DOSE values to 30% with the SEND EFFECT MIXER at 100%
                                  • Enable the PLAY FX PAD MODULATION and record a long evolution of it
                                    • Set an amount of more than 70% of REVERB/DELAY 
                                      • Set GRAIN STRETCH with a high value
                                        • Move the PLAYHEAD POSITION fader along all the track continuously.
                                          • You can add intermediate formant and oscillation with the LOOPER A enable with a Length of 1 or 2
                                            • Reduce BPM to middle value or less than 45%
                                              • Set a loop with LOOPER A
                                                • Set an amount of more than 70% of REVERB/DELAY
                                                  • Add FILTER settings
                                                    • Play with + and - alternatively to emulate a vinyl unstable.
                                                      • Move the Play head to the position of your choice
                                                        • Enable LOOP B with its modulation and on the XY pad move the cursor progressively from a long to short time value. This gesture will be recorded and repeated itself
                                                          • Move again the playhead and disenge re-enge the LOOPER B.. the same modulation will be applied to the new selection zone od the track.
                                                            • Enable a loop of between 8 and 32 bars
                                                              • Press/tap CUE fastly
                                                                • Keep pulsing + Increase STRETCH effect up to 100%
                                                                  • Mute 2 tracks of your choice (for instance the rhythmic ones) and stay lock
                                                                    • Hold down INCREASE SPEED + FX3 until the pitch is rising at your taste
                                                                      • Mute all tracks and after few seconds, release every commands.
                                                                        • Enable a loop of between 8 and 32 bars + Enable BALANCES switch
                                                                          • Tweak the TRACK SELECTOR ( on the bottom, right to the PLAY indicator)
                                                                            • Apply around 40% of FX1 with the its automation enabled.
                                                                              • Press START (space bar or DAW clock) & RANDOM at the same time, then shortly press STOP (sapce bar again, same as PLAY)
                                                                                • Restart and hit RANDOM again ...
                                                                                  • Repeat the 2 first steps at your taste and sometimes select another group of STEMS
